Starting its life as a sportswear store in 1906 by Rihachi and Rizo Mizuno, it wasn't until 1972 that the company expanded from making baseball equipment to footwear. The "M-Line" was the first trainer to carry the Mizuno logo, but unfortunately due the popularity of Nike and Adidas at the time, it wasn't successful. Fast forward to the invention of Wave technology in 1997 and the brand has gone from strength to strength, with innovative and stylish trainers to suit any aesthetic.
